Ambassador visits St Joseph Senior School Sliema - 20.01.2016 [fr]
On Wednesday, 20 January, Ambassador of France to Malta, Ms. Beatrice le Fraper du Hellen, paid a visit to the all-girls St. Joseph Senior School in Sliema, where she was warmly welcomed by the headmistress, Ms. Clarissa Fleri Soler, the Assistant Head, Ms. Joselle Bonnet, and French teachers, Ms. Daniela Coppini and Elizabeth Dimech Ghirxi as well as the students of the school.
Thanks to a partnership between the Embassy of France and the Biblionef association, a large number of books were offered to the school’s library.
The quality of education provided in this establishment is exceptional, with the majority of its students choosing to learn French. They took this opportunity to present some artwork they created following the Paris attacks on 13 November.
Draped in French colours, a buffet prepared by the schoolgirls punctuated this visit.
