Another successful edition of "Good France" in Malta (March 21, 2016) [fr]
The Ambassador of France in Malta, Her Excellency Béatrice le Fraper Du Hellen, welcomed distinguished guests to her Residence, for a "Good France" gala dinner in the presence of The Hon. Mr Chris Fearne, Parliamentary Secretary for Health, and The Hon. Roderick Galdes, Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture. The dinner was an opportunity to reaffirm that French cuisine is not only delicious but also respectful of health and environment.
Three Maltese restaurants also participated in this second edition of Goût de France / Good France, namely the Waterbiscuit in St Julian’s, Michael’s in Valletta and the De Mondion in Mdina. They delighted many gourmets who enjoyed gastronomic courses prepared for this special occasion.
These three restaurants have decided to join their support and donate together 5 % of their proceeds from this event to the President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society, in order to support anti-diabetes programs.
The Goût de France / Good France event was celebrated in more than 1 700 restaurants and 150 Residences of France around the world.
