Conference by Mr Anthony Rowley, co-founder of the European Institute of Food History
In collaboration with the French Alliance of Malta - Mediterranean, the French Embassy in Malta organizes a series of conferences. The first conference « Cuisine française, cuisine anglaise, je t’aime ; moi non plus 1715 – 2015 » will be given by Anthony Rowley on Thursday 25th February (see invitation for details)
Born in 1952, Anthony Rowley is a historian, a lecturer at the Paris Institut d’Etudes Politiques and the co-founder of the European Institute of Food History.
He is the author of a number of books, including: A Table; Le Vin: une histoire de goût; Atlas historique de la gastronomie française ; La Cuisine: une pièce à vivre ; Histoire mondiale de la table and Et si on refaisait l’histoire? (2009, co-authored with Fabrice d’Almeida).
Rowley is also a respected restaurant critic and a regular contributor to Gault Millau and Commentaire. He is also the co-director of a popular series of historical broadcasts for French television.
