ENA representative in Malta - 24 to 26 November

Dr Véronique Charléty will be in Malta from 24 to 26 November to discuss the possibilities of cooperation of the French National School of Administration (ENA) with the Maltese authorities particularly in view of Malta’s EU Presidency in 2017.


Dr Véronique Charléty is in charge of "European Governance" at the Department of European Affairs of the ENA and associate editor of the online journal "European Studies">http://www.etudes-europeennes.eu/3.html]"

Work Programme

· Monday 24th November - 10.00am - Meeting with Dr. Ian BORG, Parliamentary Secretary of EU Affairs at the “Auberge d’Aragon”, Independence Square, Valletta VLT 152.

· Tuesday 25th November - 3.30pm - Meeting with officials of Centre for Development, Research and Training (CDRT) at the “San Salvatore Bastion”, Sa Maison Road, Floriana FRN1610.

CDRT is the training arm of the Civil Service and can assess which courses may be useful for civil servants. This meeting will be attended by Ms. Joyce DIMECH, Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister. (Mr. Mario Cutajar, Principal Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, in actual fact the Head of the Civil Service, will unfortunately be abroad).

· Wednesday 26th November - 9.45am - Meeting with Department of Public Policy and Institute of Public Administration and Management, Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy, FEMA building, University of Malta, Msida MSD 2080.
