European Union celebrates the 60th anniversary of Rome treaties

Heads od States gathered in the Italian capital city to celebrate the event.

60 years ago, on March the 25th 1957, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Netherlands and Luxemburg signed the Rome Treaty, thus creating a single market in which people, goods, services and capital could move freely.

They would set up the conditions for stability and growth for European citizens.
