Jean-Marc Ayrault in Bonn for the G20 foreign ministers

Jean-Marc Ayrault, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, is visiting Bonn from February 16 to 17 to take part in the informal meeting of the G20 foreign ministers focused on the theme “Shaping global order – foreign policy beyond crisis management.” This is the first meeting of the G20 in this format since 2012.

Discussions between the ministers will focus on three areas: the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, peacekeeping and conflict prevention, and cooperation between the G20 and Africa.

This meeting is being hosted by the German presidency of the G20 and forms part of the preparations for the G20 summit of heads of state and government due to take place in Hamburg on July 7 and 8, 2017.
