Jul in Malta for a workshop

JPEG French press cartoonist and comic strips author Jul (his real name Julian Berjeaut) was in Malta last weekend. The Embassy of France in Malta and the French Alliance of Malta-Mediterranean, in collaboration with the St James Cavalier and the Malta Comics Convention organized a workshop with local press designers and scriptwriters on Saturday, November 13th.

Jul has worked for magazines such as L’écho des savanes, Fluide Glacial, and Charlie Hebdo. He is also contributing to the newspaper Les échos, and l’Humanité and he regularly draws the portrait in comic strips of an author in Philosophie Magazine.

SInce 2005 He has published comic strips albums that have been great hits with the Fernch audiences and critics. After the album “Il faut tuer José Bové”, Jul started up a series of books comically entitled "Silex and the city". Jul participates also in TV programs on France 5 such as ’La Grande Librairie’.
