On behalf of the National Council of Women Malta (NCW Malta) and the International Council of Women (ICW) which includes the European Centre (ECICW) I would like to express our deep sorrow for the terrorist attack in Nice.
Please convey our condolences and sympathy to the French Authorities for the great loss of life and the many injured.
As the French Prime Minister said it is important that we all from Civil Society reaffirm our values and our conviction for a better world based on peace and intercultural dialogue.
France and the French People are strong and will never give in to the terrorists.
If only the values of France’s heritage of " Liberte’, Egualite’ Fraternite’ " be shared by everyone whatever their beliefs !
We are with you at this time of sorrow thinking of the families who lost their loved ones and praying for the injured to recover quickly.
Hon General Secretary NCW Malta
Hon President ECICW
